So I am in Milan and I am stuck with the hottest summer in years and public swimming pools while my friends are in Mykonos or Santorini, Greece amidst the tranquil sea, house parties and awesome sunsets.  I get to watch it all, miserably, through social media.

And while Greece is in the midst of an economic situation their islands like Santorini and Mykonos, where tourism is the main source of income, maintain a safe and welcome environment for the tourist season.  This is pointedly reinforced by my enviable Instagram and Facebook feed.

But it is not too late for me.  Greece is a short jaunt away.  I think I will pack and crash for a long weekend.  And I hope you too get the opportunity for one last summer fling!
