So Popular Spring 2016 is an antithesis of modern sportswear.  The collection is a miasma of masculine stereotypes broken down and redrawn.  Spidery knits across the chest and arms come across as disheveled and in repair, the shoulder cutouts affect a cross between a jersey tee and a long sleeved tee, and the slashes in the loose fit trousers feel more utilitarian than trendy.   In all the collection is an avant garde take on sportswear, more high fashion than functional.
