Kilian Kerner Spring 2016 is a lesson in complex layering.  The wafer thin physiques of the models are layered with two, sometimes three articles of clothing that miscalculates to a slim silhouette.  One can only imagine that the knits and silks of the Kerner collection are spun to their finest point.  This is the first impression of his standout collection.

The geometric color schematics only add to the complexity of the styling.  And contrary to thought, the monochrome looks that walk the runway are equally impressive due simply to their color pallet and sharp tailoring.

The unexpected twist of the collection this season is the spider dresses with spun webs centered over the right breast.  It adds that one touch of whimsy to an extraordinary vision.
