Let’s celebrate the ‘Day of the Girl’ honoring the new creative director of Dior, Maria Grazia Chiuri and her awesome feminist message for Dior!
The first woman to hold the creative reins at Dior, Maria Grazia Chiuri masterfully ushered the House into a new era, redefining the Dior codes. I love the strong feminist message, this collection will seduce modern women and connects especially with younger Millennials, who can recognize themselves in the contemporary voice of Maria.
She is my hero. If you think about it, she left Valentino, she left a strong reliable partnership with her co-creative director and she stepped out BY HERSELF not knowing if she would be able to do justice to Dior. And she did! I’m so proud of her.
And, I absolutely want one of those “We should all be feminists” t-shirts, but I fear they will sell-out as soon as they are available, GRRRR!!!
