Kaysy Gotay (Instagram: @kaysyj) is a New York based stylist, and just a gorgeous woman inside and out. And because New York Fashion Week is coming, Kaysy spent her New York Friday in full “trends” research mode.

Kaysy is also an Editor-At-Large for my Magazine, The Fashion Plate, and she will be traversing the shows and presentations on our behalf. Super excited!
As you can see from the picture above, Kaysy, in New York, at 9am, sitting in a crowded room full of other New York stylists, is staring at fashion. Why? Because any stylist worth their salt knows that before fashion week begins, you MUST research the trends that were, to recognize the new trends that will be. This work not only informs the editorials a stylist will do now, but also the editorials they will do for the coming Spring 2016 collections showing at New York Fashion Week next week.
