July 31, 2015 is now recorded in history for a rare sighting. A blue moon. A blue moon is a rare full moon of absolute clarity and beauty.
On July 31st people all over the world submitted photographs of the Blue Moon in their countries.
I don’t know what it is about the moon that makes me so happy. I’ve been moonstruck since I was a little girl. For me there is something mysterious and romantic, and safe about the moon. It is such a simple shape but it is voluminous and it radiates luminously. The shadows, which we know are craters, just adds to it’s beauty making it ever more mysterious about its hidden depths.
